Set in the Yarra Valley, part rural thriller, part intelligent family drama The Map of Night takes readers behind the scenes of a seemingly perfect family and reveals the uncomfortable truth.


Kimberley Starr is an Australian novelist and teacher. Her novels have been shortlisted for multiple literary awards, including the Queensland Premier’s Literary Award and the Text Publishing YA Prize. Her most recent novel Torched was shortlisted for The Davitt Awards.


 


Kimberley will be in conversation with Angela Savage, an award-winning Melbourne writer. Her novels include Behind the Night Bazaar, The Dying Beach and Mother of Pearl.  She has taught writing throughout Australia and overseas. Angela holds a PhD in Creative Writing from Monash University, and is currently Director of Writers Victoria.
