Edmond Dantes is falsely accused of treason and imprisoned in the terrifying Chateau d\\\'If. Many years later he escapes, discovers a secret fortune and tracks down his enemies to make them suffer for their crimes. The film version of the novel is due to be shown nationwide from 19th April 2002.
